Road network is good but be careful with the narrowness of roads in mountains and to broad ditches of evacuation along them. A four ways road (littoral road) goes around the island.
On the outskirts of cities, traffic is heavy and at some times, traffic jams are common.
Inhabitants of Reunion Island are aggressive and they do not respect much the highway code. Be careful.
